How to use the checklist with your guild
Start with the decisions that affect everyone: the kind of guild you want, your likely raid nights and who owns each preparation task. Complete a task when the decision is recorded somewhere your members can find, rather than when it has only been discussed.
Work through the roster section with our free guild roster template. For each name, record an intended role and actual availability. An undecided answer is useful: it tells an officer what to follow up on.
What you can prepare before the game launches
Recruitment expectations, communication, profession preferences and schedules do not depend on final raid tuning. Those are useful decisions to make now. Realm choices, addon compatibility, raid size and encounter requirements should be confirmed from current official information before becoming firm rules.
Blizzard’s announcement lists November 4, 2026 for launch and September 17 for beta. Check the official WoW Forever announcement for updates. This checklist is a planning aid, not a list of confirmed in-game prerequisites.
What happens to my checklist?
Your checked items stay in this browser’s local storage. Clearing site data, using another device or switching browsers will not carry that progress across. Download a text copy to keep a record or use your browser’s print dialogue to save a PDF. No account is required.
