Where is the WoW Forever Black Market?
The beta Black Market is at Powderfuse Port in the Riverglades, around coordinates 78.1, 51.9. Wowhead’s 27 September report identifies two separate NPCs: Madam Swyndle handles auctions, while Mister Graphed sells crafting supplies. Check which window you opened before comparing prices.
Wowhead’s vendor report describes a boat connection from Steamwheedle Port in Tanaris. These are beta observations reviewed on 28 September, not confirmed launch inventory. The market was already being discussed by testers earlier in September; the latest coverage does not establish when it was added.
Auction bids are different from reagent prices
Icy Veins’ firsthand beta coverage includes the auction window below. It shows a 400-gold current bid for Devout Crown and 3,000 gold for Deathcharger’s Reins. Those are displayed bids from that observation, not guaranteed winning prices or a promise that the same items remain available.
For guild planning, keep collectible bids separate from your supplies budget. A member wanting a mount is making a different decision from an officer buying a missing crafting ingredient. Agree beforehand whether any guild funds can support optional purchases, and who authorises them.

What does Mister Graphed sell?
A tester’s 19–20 September forum report records the prices below. The author reports Arcane Crystals offered without a limit. Wowhead subsequently reports unrestricted reagent stock, but RaidMuster has not independently tested purchase limits. Recheck the vendor before committing guild gold.
| Item | Reported vendor price |
|---|---|
| Black Lotus | 50 gold |
| Arcane Crystal | 50 gold |
| Pyrite | 5 gold |
| Pristine Leather | 5 gold |
How to use a vendor price in guild profession planning
Our planning interpretation is that a reliably available vendor gives buyers a comparison point. It does not guarantee every Auction House listing will be cheaper, that gathering becomes pointless, or that launch prices stay fixed. Availability, travel and the date of your price check still matter.
Start with a specific craft and confirm the recipe, crafter and missing quantity. Check stored materials before choosing between gathering, buying from players and visiting the vendor. Nominate one buyer so several officers do not purchase the same shortfall independently.
For an illustrative calculation, if a verified craft needs four missing units and the vendor still charges 50 gold each, budget 200 gold for that ingredient. If a player offers all four for 35 gold each, the alternative costs 140 gold: a 60-gold difference. This example assumes a hypothetical requirement, not a confirmed Forever recipe. Add the remaining ingredients before presenting a total craft cost.
| Record | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Craft, recipient and crafter | Establish who needs the finished item and who can make it. |
| Missing quantity after checking stock | Avoid paying for materials already available. |
| Vendor and player prices, with check date | Compare current options rather than an old screenshot. |
| Named buyer, spending limit and deadline | Prevent duplicate purchases and open-ended spending. |
Connect the purchase to a guild supply goal
Use the guild profession planner to connect your supply goal with the people who can help. Keep the detailed price comparison alongside the officer’s purchase note; the screenshot below demonstrates planning responsibilities, not live vendor-price tracking.
Mark a material as acquired only after the buyer confirms receipt, then pass the crafting task to its owner. A purchase plan is not evidence that the finished item is ready. After the next beta update, recheck any vendor assumptions that still underpin an unfinished order.
