A first look at Hyjal weapon appearances
Wowhead’s Hyjal gallery reports more than forty weapon models associated with the two Hyjal raids. The example below shows an axe-shaped weapon with a wood-like head, pale blade edges, purple details and a green handle. These are appearance observations, not an item identification.

Does a model identify a boss drop?
No. This preview does not establish an item name, equipment requirements, stats, drop chance or a particular boss. A model is the visual asset; an obtainable item needs its own verified record and acquisition evidence. Treating those as interchangeable can turn an accurate image into an inaccurate farming guide.
Colour variations also need care. Several appearances do not prove there are matching raid difficulty levels, separate loot tiers or a guaranteed version for each class. We will need item and encounter evidence before drawing those conclusions.
How to use the preview as a collector
Save the source image reference alongside the appearance you like. When an actual item is identified, add its name and source rather than replacing the model reference. This preserves a way to check whether a later guide is talking about the same appearance.
Keep a wish list separate from a loot claim. Liking a model does not establish that your character can equip the finished item, unlock its appearance or obtain it through your planned content. The preview is useful for choosing what to investigate next.
What raid organisers can decide now
Agree how the group handles equipment upgrades, secondary roles and appearance interests before loot is contested. Once beta item tooltips are available, evaluate an upgrade against the player’s current equipment and active set bonuses. A striking appearance cannot establish combat value.
For a future drop guide, require an exact item name, a tooltip, the observed acquisition source and the client build. Keep untested database associations labelled as such. That gives members a basis for planning runs without inventing a best-in-slot list from artwork.
