The current answer: no plans for either
GamesRadar’s 14 September report on Destin Legarie’s interview with Clayton Stone says the developers currently have no plans to add a WoW Token or paid level boosts to Forever. Stone emphasises the importance of the levelling journey.
Read that as the current plan, not a permanent guarantee about every future update. It also does not establish the rules for every form of player-provided assistance.
Plan around the time your friends actually have
For a group starting together, our practical recommendation is to agree a pace before launch. Ask how many evenings people want to spend levelling and whether shared sessions or reaching maximum level quickly matters more to them.
Imagine one member can play most evenings and another only on Sundays. A shared calendar does not remove that difference. Decide whether the frequent player wants a separate character, another activity between group sessions or simply a looser arrangement without a promise to remain level together.
Do not build your schedule around a future purchase solving the gap. Set a review point after the first few sessions and let people change their commitment without making it a personal failure.
A useful launch agreement
Put a short agreement somewhere every member can find it. The aim is to prevent mismatched expectations, not to make ordinary play feel like work.
- Name the usual shared evening, time zone and finish time.
- Agree whether progressing outside shared sessions is expected, optional or something the group would prefer to avoid.
- Choose how an absent member can tell the group and when the next session is confirmed.
- Keep a list of activities people would enjoy together if their levels diverge, then verify their suitability in the game.
- Separate an aspiration to raid from a confirmed date that everyone must be ready.
Make recruitment match the agreement
An honest recruitment message explains the pace and availability you can support. A relaxed group should say what that means in practice: for example, one shared evening with no agreed race to maximum level.
Use the roster template to collect availability and role intentions. Those answers can help you find compatible people now, while individual progression remains something to revisit after players have started.
