Which new reputations have been datamined?
Wowhead’s reputation datamine reveals new faction names and descriptions. The selection below groups the most relevant discoveries by their described setting. These are beta records: names can change, and inclusion does not guarantee launch availability.
| Faction | Connection in the datamined description |
|---|---|
| Guardians of Hyjal | Cenarion Circle splinter protecting Mount Hyjal. |
| Barkskin Burrow | Uncorrupted furbolgs associated with Hyjal. |
| Windshapers | Skyborne spiritual leaders with elemental traditions. |
| High Order | Skyborne magisters descended from Eldre’Thalas. |
| Nightclaw Druids | Independent druids in Zephras Isle’s Shadowgale Forest. |
| Darkspear Raiders | Troll forces contesting the Darkspear Islands. |
| Theramore Expeditionary Force | Opponents of the Darkspear Raiders. |
| Powderfuse | Steamwheedle-linked port traders. |
Are reputation rewards and farming routes known?
This discovery establishes faction records, not a finished reward guide. We do not yet have verified vendor inventories, reputation requirements or repeatable activities for the factions listed here. A name in a data table cannot tell you which recipe to budget for or which dungeon to repeat.
The wider source also includes familiar names. Do not assume every entry in the extracted list represents a newly invented faction or a new grind. We have selected records explicitly marked new and kept their descriptions separate from any gameplay recommendation.
What should a guild do with this information?
Keep reputation interests optional until there is a concrete reward a member wants. A useful planning note has three fields: the player, the desired reward and the evidence for obtaining it. Leave the reward field undecided when the only evidence is a faction name.
For example, a crafter interested in Powderfuse should not buy materials on the assumption that it sells a profession recipe. Wait for an observed vendor listing, then record the item, required standing and whether the recipe can be traded. This prevents a speculative shopping list becoming a guild expense.
What to verify when you meet a faction
Our suggested beta checklist turns an interesting name into information another player can actually use. Record the client build with each observation.
- Check whether the faction appears in the reputation panel and note your starting standing.
- Record the quest or activity that changes reputation and the amount shown.
- Inspect vendor requirements directly; distinguish recipes, equipment and cosmetics.
- Test access on the relevant character rather than assuming faction or account-wide rules.
- Keep screenshots of tooltips with names and requirements visible.
