WoW Forever Riverglades map: Powderfuse Port and travel

Explore the datamined Riverglades map, its visible landmarks and Blizzard's announced Steamwheedle route to Powderfuse Port in WoW Forever.

A first look at the Riverglades map

Wowhead’s new and modified map gallery includes the Riverglades artwork below. The visible labels give players a first orientation point for a region that previously existed mainly in announcements and gameplay previews.

Powderfuse Port sits on the eastern coast in this image. Sunnyglade is inland, while Wheeler’s Grange and Farholde Keep appear farther south. The Badlands, Burning Steppes and Redridge Mountains labels help place the region beside familiar territory. These observations describe the artwork, not a route we have tested in the client.

How will players reach Powderfuse Port?

Blizzard’s Found Photos panel recap connects Powderfuse Port to a new Steamwheedle sea route from Tanaris. It describes Riverglades as a mid-level region with nearly 200 quests for Horde and Alliance, roughly comparable in size to Stranglethorn Vale.

That announcement establishes the planned connection. The map alone does not supply a departure timetable, a required quest or an exact boarding location. We have not yet verified those details through gameplay, so this is an orientation guide rather than step-by-step travel instructions.

Use landmarks without assuming their services

For a first guild visit, use a visible landmark as a proposed meeting point and confirm it with someone who has reached it. A town label does not by itself prove that an innkeeper, flight master or safe gathering area is available to your faction.

Likewise, a line on the map is not enough to promise a safe road through neighbouring territory. Check access, nearby enemies and any transport requirements before telling lower-level members to follow it.

If your group wants to explore without quest spoilers, share just the meeting place and travel requirements. Keep story discoveries in a separate discussion so everyone can choose how much they want to know.

A short checklist for the first scouting trip

Our suggested scouting notes focus on the questions that make a later group outing easier to organise. Add the date and client build so another member can recognise when information needs checking again.

  • Confirm the departure point and destination in the current client.
  • Record any level, quest or faction condition you actually encounter.
  • Time the journey, including waiting for transport, and label it as one observed trip.
  • Check a suitable meeting point and a way to leave the area.
  • Give the group a finish time before setting off to explore.
