Are Tarnished Undermine Reals coming to Forever?
Yes. Wowhead’s dedicated Q&A report attributes the announcement to Josh Greenfield. The currency is returning from Season of Discovery, but the report does not establish how Forever players will earn it.
In Season of Discovery, Reals came from dungeons and could purchase several kinds of rewards, including equipment and crafting-related items. That history is background, not confirmation of Forever’s acquisition rules or vendor inventory.
Can you start planning a farming route?
Not from this announcement alone. A currency name cannot establish which bosses award it, how often rewards can be earned or whether a particular item is worth saving for. We have not verified a Forever vendor or currency drop in the client.
Treat proposed routes as test plans until someone can show the relevant build, eligible character and actual reward. If a guide lists prices or repeatable daily earnings, check whether its evidence is from Forever or from Season of Discovery.

How guilds can prepare without assigning a grind
Ask a volunteer to investigate one question rather than asking every member to farm an assumed target. Save the observation date and distinguish a failed test from a confirmed restriction. A missing reward could have several explanations; one unsuccessful run is not proof of a universal rule.
For a hypothetical weekly dungeon night, choose an activity members already want to do and keep currency research as a secondary task. Do not promise that a certain number of evenings will buy someone a pre-raid item until the price and earning rules are established.
How to compare a currency reward with a dungeon drop
When an actual reward is available, compare its usefulness for the player’s intended role, the effort required and competing uses for the same currency. A deterministic purchase can be convenient, but that does not automatically make it the best first purchase for every character.
