What customisation has been shown?
Wowhead’s body type 2 datamine gallery groups options into skin, face, eyes, brows, ears, jewellery, hair, feathers and tattoos. Follow the gallery for the visual examples; this guide helps you compare them and plan a character. Datamined options may change before release.
Choose the faction and class before the appearance
Wowhead’s BlizzCon first look reports Warrior, Hunter, Rogue and Druid for both factions, with Mage on Alliance and Shaman on Horde. It also shows Bear, Cat, Travel and Moonkin previews. It does not establish a Tree form.
| Intended class | Faction choice reported |
|---|---|
| Warrior, Hunter, Rogue or Druid | Alliance or Horde |
| Mage | Alliance |
| Shaman | Horde |
Read Druid form previews carefully
A creature model found in a client is not automatically a selectable player form. Start with the forms specifically identified in the source preview. When beta access permits, check whether the character creation appearance affects the form and whether any choices can be changed later.
For a Druid, compare the form you expect to use most often as well as the humanoid character. A player intending to spend group sessions in Bear or Cat may care about different visual details from one who mostly heals. Appearance is a personal choice; it does not demonstrate a combat advantage or determine your talent allocation.
A practical appearance comparison checklist
Save a reference for the combination you like, and record the labels displayed by the client. A screenshot with no option names is harder to recreate after a reset.
| Feature | What to inspect |
|---|---|
| Skin and markings | Contrast in ordinary lighting, including the face and visible limbs. |
| Hair, ears and feathers | Front, side and rear views; intersections with the armour you intend to show. |
| Eyes and face | A close view and a normal gameplay-distance view. |
| Druid forms | Only forms confirmed as playable; record the character settings used. |
| Animation | Movement and casting, when accessible in the actual client. |
Keep cosmetic choices separate from roster commitments
Before spending a long time creating a character, confirm which faction your friends intend to play and which role you want to try. Then record that intention in your group plan. A completed appearance does not mean the player has committed to tanking or healing.
For a shared character reference, include name, faction, class and intended role alongside the screenshot. Do not infer a role from a race or a form preview. Use the Druid talent guide to explore role choices and the race/class guide for the broader combinations.
What this preview does not settle
The cited galleries do not establish every final option count, unlock requirement, post-creation service or interaction with all armour models. Check those points in the current client before making a purchase or relying on a particular appearance. This article contains no claim that RaidMuster has tested the character creator.
